Bringing my life’s passion to your training

I grew up in small town Illinois and began playing baseball in the backyard with my dad and two older brothers. It did not take long until every spring and summer day was filled with practices and games. As I got into high school, I began to carve out a niche as a left-handed pitcher. This landed me a few D1 opportunities out of high school but I eventually landed at a junior college close to home - which in hindsight may have been the best decision I’ve ever made.

My junior college career ended with a trip to the program’s first World Series in a decade, as well as some accolades to go with it, but what it really did was begin to shape my work ethic, attention to detail and process-driven mentality.

My next stop was at Purdue University, where I had a different, but equally great career. More personal accolades and records broken while sending the program to a regional for the second time in school history. This all culminated from the growth I made from baseball, which is ultimately why I decided to pursue a career in coaching - to pass along the lessons from baseball that changed my life.

In 2019 I began my coaching career at Illinois State University and made stops in my eight-year coaching career at Parkland, Purdue and Butler University. I was fortunate enough to coach in a regional and be an out away from winning it. Myself and the staffs I was on coached multiple big leaguers, draftees, and all-conference performers.

My experiences and expertise will help to filter through the information overload into today’s game. Using tried-and-true processes with simple feedback loops while weaving them with technology and data will take out the guesswork to give you scalable tools that transfer directly into competition!
